Object Classification

Assigns a class to every object the cameras track. It is also what makes recorded footage searchable — you cannot look for a vehicle the system never labelled as one.

What triggers it

Sorts what the camera sees into people, vehicles, animals and objects, and tags each detection with the class it assigned. Everything else in this module reads from that classification, so it runs first.

What you set up

  • which classes to track
  • the confidence floor a detection must clear
  • whether unclassified movement is logged or discarded

What the operator gets

A class label and a confidence figure on every tracked object, visible in live view and searchable in recorded footage.

Every site defines this differently.

What counts as an event in a hospital lobby isn't what counts on a station platform or a factory floor. Describe your scene and we'll tune the detection to it.
