Colour Search
Search recorded footage by object colour to speed up forensic review. The request it answers usually arrives as a description rather than a time: someone in a blue jacket, some time this afternoon.
What triggers it
Not an alert. It searches recorded footage for a classified object of a given colour, and returns the clips that match — used after an incident, when a description is all you have.
What you set up
- nothing standing. You set the colour, the object class and the time window at the point of searching.
What the operator gets
A result list of clips with timestamps and cameras, ranked by match confidence, each playable in place.
Where it’s used
Every site defines this differently.
What counts as an event in a hospital lobby isn't what counts on a station platform or a factory floor. Describe your scene and we'll tune the detection to it.
