Unauthorised Person Detection

Flags people who are not on the enrolled watch-list within a defined zone or time window. Small controlled zones with short lists, where the answer to who belongs is unambiguous.

What triggers it

A face is detected in a controlled zone and does not match your enrolment list. The judgement is against your list only, which means the analytic is exactly as good as the list is current.

What you set up

  • the zone
  • which enrolment list applies
  • grace period for visitors being signed in
  • schedule

What the operator gets

The person boxed, the zone named, a note that no match was found, and the clip.

Face capabilities run only against your own opt-in, per-site watch-list — face detection, face enrolment, and unauthorised-person alerting. Vigil-X.AI does not perform 1:N forensic face recognition against external or government identity databases, and does not perform cross-camera tracking.

Where it’s used

Every site defines this differently.

What counts as an event in a hospital lobby isn't what counts on a station platform or a factory floor. Describe your scene and we'll tune the detection to it.
