Smoke Detection
Detects smoke drifting across an area under camera coverage. The minutes it buys are the ones an evacuation plan assumes you have.
What triggers it
Smoke normally shows before flame does, which is the window where a site can still be cleared rather than evacuated. Steam, dust and exhaust are what it has to be tuned against, and a site with any of those will need the threshold raised.
