Line Crossing
Detects directional crossing of a defined line for movement rules. Without direction the same line would alarm every time a shift changed and everyone walked out at once.
What triggers it
Direction is the whole point. Crossing towards the track is an incident; crossing away from it is people leaving. Configured as one line with a declared side, so the same geometry produces two different events.
What you set up
- the line
- which direction raises an alert
- which classes count
- schedule
What the operator gets
The crossing clip, with the direction of travel stated in the alert rather than left to the operator to judge.
Where it’s used
Every site defines this differently.
What counts as an event in a hospital lobby isn't what counts on a station platform or a factory floor. Describe your scene and we'll tune the detection to it.
